What makes one job cost more than another?
Where the clog is
A blockage in a sink's trap arm is a different job than one fifty feet down the main line. The further from the fixture, the more line has to be worked.
How hard it is to reach
An accessible ground-level cleanout keeps a job simple. No cleanout — pulling a toilet or working from the roof — adds real labor, and we say so before starting, not after.
The equipment it needs
A soft blockage clears with a cable machine. Roots, years of grease, or a line that keeps re-blocking can call for hydro jetting or a camera — different machines, different jobs.
Time of day
Emergency and after-hours calls are part of the service, and whatever the timing adds is stated on the phone with the rest of the range — never discovered on the invoice.

When do I find out what it costs?
On the phone, before anyone drives anywhere: describe the problem and you get a genuine range for the likely job. On site, before work begins: the final price, confirmed in writing. If what we find changes the job, you approve the new number before the work continues — the written figure is the one that counts.

Warranty
What if the drain blocks again next week?
2-week functional warranty on cleared lines. The warranty does not apply where the pipe is collapsed or severely damaged.
If the camera shows the pipe itself has failed, clearing it again isn't the honest fix — we'll show you the footage and price the real repair instead of selling you the same visit twice.
